Threaded 0 gauge into the cabin. Waiting for the battery terminals and 80amp breaker to show up so I can connect everything. There is an oem hole with grommet on the passenger side firewall with a tiny wire going through. Plenty of room for boat loads of huge wire.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

May I ask what you are planning? and why do you have a positive and negative 0awg wire going into the cabin?

I got 0 gauge for free from a salvage vehicle. So using that rather than spending money seemed like thw thing to do. I'm just putting a 1000w gh class amp in to power a 12" alpine type r. Its more than I need, but the extra capacity is there. And why both positive and negative? Because a wire going straight to battery achieves the same goal as grounded to a nearby bolt... it all goes back to the battery.this is just a direct channel.

I believe the correct answer should have been "because im installing a flux capacitor." I suppose bass is cool as well though.

Im running an 1000 w Alpine pdx amp powering an alpine type x. I am only using 4awg with a dual battery setup. you might have found it a little easier to use the ground wire to the back seat post then ground the battery under the hood to frame using the 0awg wire. But if you were able to hide that massive wire then good luck.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Received a beautiful used mygig rer from onebadheeptruck! Works great and makes my jeep look that much better! I feel bad for everyone who didn't buy it, cuz they missed out on a great radio for a great price.
