Lol. Today I put the bolder grill on from aspen creek offroad. Time consuming pita but it sets off the front end. Did transfrr case and diffs last week. Washed the rags and they still wreak. Oh well. Lol.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I got a quote from a family mechanic $150 to do spark plugs, front/rear diffs and tcase. How does that sound?
Im a DIY guy and just from the tutorials I should be able to handle it. Just im impatient and i have a 3 day weekend. For the diffs, did you guys use the cheater method? with a pump?

I change mine every 15k and don't offroad so I use the pump for the rear. the front dif has a drain. just obviously remove the fill plug first you you don't screw yourself with a bolt you cant remove. I do all of that maintenance myself and none of it is difficult. the $150 quote is a little too low to sound legit lol it is around $95 in oil alone for the differential and t-case. then add in the cost of spark plugs and it is around $150 just in parts. it is also a few hours labor to do all of that stuff.

I would pay the $150 if you just don't want to deal with it, not a bad price at all. it is a pain in the ass to do that stuff but none of it is difficult. I did all of it in one afternoon.

That's sexy as hell. My hemi came from PA so its got salt corrosion all over it I'm saving up to replace everything that comes off and do it all at once. Might get crazy and attack it with a polishing wheel.
