Do some trouble shooting, check power and ground connections for good connection (a great ground is the seat bold on the floor). Next check remote wire (runs from headunit or switched power source to amp). If remote is broken then the amp will not turn on. If remote is loose it will cause amp to go on or off. Next unplug the sub and see if the amp stays on, if so then it could be a short or something with your sub.

If your amp is in a normal location it should not overheat. Also about the gains and levels my amp will shut off if it senses distorted signals that can kill the speakers. I used to have the alpine amp you have and it never had that shutoff protection.

Already checked my remote wire and my power wire. Amp has constant power. Disconnected amp from sub and amp stays on. And sub worked fine in my car my dad's car and a family friends car. My ground is one of the seat bolts everything looks fine and has a tight connection. Going back to test the sub on my dad's amp since we have the same set up and see if it gave out. Thanks for the help

Does it randomly fade out? Check the alternator. Some times a bad diode in the alternator can cause ripple current which will make electrical noise

Then it probbaly is the sub then. If the amp stays on without the sub then thats most likely your problem. Or could be itnernal problem with the amp when theres load on it it wont stay on

I just like a nice clean classy look, and the plate doesn't help it any lol

My WK is registered in AR, and they don't do the front plate thing. In fact, they only give you one plate to begin with. My bumper looks much better without the plate and/or holes for mounting brackets.

You mean the delay from when you shift up to when it shifts when in autostick? Thats a issue with how the shift modual is designed in the wk. I have heard that there is a tune for it that gives you better control of autostick and there is alway going to paddle shift.
