Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Did some testing with the new lift, and was actually very surprised w/ the results
Pros:
Better mpg- About 14.5 city and 21 hwy
Better 0-60- Now in the high 5 sec. range
Better Handling- Stiffer
Better off road performance (?)- not yet tested
Cons:
Some more body roll, due to higher cog, on right turns @ 40+ mph - probably shouldn't be taking turns this fast in a Jeep anyways
Strange grinding noise on u-turns- probably due to something I screwed up when I installed it, maybe bad tie rod ends will look into

Also, schooled a mazda 3 today. Driver and his girlfriend saw me driving kinda fast and looked at my Jeep and they just started laughing. Guy motioned to go at the light, and I left him in the dust. When I saw them next they weren't laughing anymore just staring in awe.

I think the quicker 0-60 is due to the stiffer suspension not allowing weight transfer from front to back. what size tire are you running?
