I can do the RC lift for $150 shipped...just enough to fit into my career student budget! Follow-up question though: did you have to shave your top strut bolt for the install? I noticed that it mentions that it might need to be done in the instructions...
Than the rc lift would be the way to go. No you do not need to grind the top of the strut bolts, there is more than enough clearance for the spacer. I have noticed with the lift the jeep actually handles better than stock b/c the suspension is tighter.

And startlingly it burned through an entire tank of gas when it revved the motor for ya . That being said, I'll bet it sounded sexy!

I love them and would take them over OEM shocks/struts 10x over. I really hope they work with the RC lift as well as they do now! The only complaint that I have is that the LL's in the back rusted pretty quickly, but apparently that's a common complaint and in no way affects performance (after 2+ years). Also if you go over a ton of bumps, the LL's are a bit noisy.

However, that fact is entirely negated by the obvious benefits of the coil-overs for towing. I was towing a 26ft boat and the rear end barely sagged past normal levels!

Be careful with that front end off-roading even the littlest of trails will wreck it! T hangs down so low even with the lift.

That's why I kept my beat up stock bumper for the trails. It's pretty easy to switch them out. Actually even with the srt bumper it has 12 inches of clearance which is actually not bad.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I ripped mine off the second day I had it on. It's too much of a pain to swap between my two would take at least an hour or more. I have to swap back to old 05 hardware

Aaaah see i don't have any of the srt hardware on mine. It's just held on by stock hardware and supported by the tow hooks. Not the right way to do it but that's how the body shop did it and if it ever breaks or falls of they are taking care of it. They refused to order hardware to do it the right way from AAA.

Not really familiar with the Vortec Supercharger, but can it be activated and deactivated on command?

No its belt driven and a centrifugal type of supercharger. There are a few electronic superchargers on the market but they generate low amounts of boost in the 4 to 5 psi range. I think eaton had one, possible edlebrock. I know jackson racing had one for a while.

Odd I actually get better gas mileage with my Vortech v3

No practical electric supercharger can keep up with the CFM of a large displacement engine.
