I know, it cuz they only run at short bursts and only generate small amounts of boost. And I agree there is no replacement for displacement. No matter how much boost is thrown at a small engine, the same boost level on a bigger engine will blow the small one away.

Boost is back pressure/resistance. Superchargers and turbochargers are rated in CFM so saying low boost vs high boost all depends on the CFM an engine can flow. The CFM a supercharger expels is relative to its RPM. Example: A Vortech v3 on a A 6.1 liter may only create say 8psi of boost and a 5.7l may create 10psi of boost but the supercharger is flowing the same CFM at the same rpm ranges just one engine has less resistance. Those electric superchargers are a joke/scam

That is why there is no replacement for displacement

That's why you rock a nice square 392 or 419 and force feed the crap out if it.

Once this fall comes it's 419 shortblock and I will spin my v3 to its max.

My ultimate goal is to build the first TURBO 3.7, and it be reliable

Why waste the time and resources?? You will learn reliability especially in uncharted territory with a FI 3.7 is a pipe dream.

Because its never been done. all the parts I know where to get. Forged 4.7 parts will work in the 3.7. I just need to do a little more research on the cranks, I think the 3.7 has its slightly longer stroke because of the crank having a longer throw. all I want is 10-12 psi. I could handle 6-8 just swapping out pistons

What about your drivetrain? Tuning options? Fuel delivery?

Standalones have their place but getting it to work and be "reliable" without losing a lot of the jeeps canbus systems will be a heck of a challenge. If it was that easy and cheap to slap a motec in and run others would have done it. I have seen the question raised before and to get it to work would be 10k plus.
