Thanks for weighing in Jeff...I appreciate your perspective. I didn't say anything about this or any other generation degrading. I would not deny any generation their god given right to speak however the hell they want. Sheeeet..... that's one of the rights you and guys like you are 10,000 miles away from home protecting. I was merely poking fun at the latest slang. It's certainly not something to fight about....It's slang for cryin out loud! Hey, every generation has it's own language....I "can dig that". For example, "good" things have been referred to referred to in the past as being...bitchen, cool, tuff, rough, neat, keen, sharp, boss, hot, cool, peachy, slick, tubular, far out, dope, sick, and now stupid. Again, I was just poking fun at a term that is, well, stupid! I didn't say anything negative or derogatory about the guy, so I don't need any of that "old fart don't get my generation" crap fired off at me. I have good friends of all ages, and am accepted by all age groups....It's only a state of mind anyway, and the one thing I hope I never lose is the ability to laugh at myself!

Id go crazy if I stopped laughing at myself every now and again, especially in the position I currently hold. Im just an E4, but im filling an E7 slot. im acting motor sergeant indefinitely or until they get someone. I have used a few of those terms myself, Bitchen, cool and boss ive used quite a few times.

That kind of crap is universal. I guess it doesn't matter if you're in the Army or private sector....When they need something to be done they're gonna do whatever it takes. ...including having people do jobs that are above their paygrade (or rank). I get to do stuff for a couple of guys that are two pay grades above me should be doing but they don't know how to do the job. What can we do? Piss and moan or just do it and shrug it off!
Better get some sleep...I got work in the AM!

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I've got kicker rs up front and the back, I am also using an additional 3 way crossover up front so that my dash 3.5 kicker gets powered by the front channel as well as the 1.5 inch tweeter and woofer in the door.

Eternal - do your amps ever overhead being in that sealed compartment in the back? I tried to make a compartment like that but failed! Lol

Boston SE all around. Sounds GREAT! And they were cheap haha.

I'm buying a T-splitter for my amp wiring kit and probably adding a amp to bypass the factory Boston one this summer so that I'll have full range sound on all speakers!

That looks and probably sounds awesome! I haven't decided which amp I'm going to power my door speakers with yet...

Yup Jeff that's exactly what I was saying. Thanks for having my back. Yjagetajeep I was just pointing out your age to indicate the generation gap between us. Now as far as the word stupid used in that context, I have never heard it being used that way, and it's also possible that maybe you misheard or didn't understand the context correctly.

I don't want to stur the pot but his usage and understanding of the term "stupid" in that context is correct. I've heard it used that way before.

Hey give us a break?? We're the most egocentric and illiterate generation ever! We're just special. We're filled with swag and all that good stuff.
