Coolio. Now finding tires. Now how come your getting the ones you are? Specific reason? Better tread life? Higher speed rating? Traction?

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Well they are better rated then the nitto 420's I had on my last set of reps, so yes to answer all your questions. 1, I wanna try general tire. 2, I like how they look and they have roughly the same tread life but in a more all season tread pattern. Better for all year use. The are higher speed rated as well. the nitto's were rated at 149 while the G-max tires are rated at 168. Same traction and temp ratings but have a high UTQG rating. (Nitto was a 420 and the G-Max are 480) but above all they are significantly cheaper then the nitto's. I paid 850 with free shipping on the nitto's. these will be like 636 and when shipped 735.70 for all four. (im going staggered again)

Doesn't rip the carpet at all. Might pull a tiny but of excess fuzz off of the stock carpet but nothing noticeable. You can also gently pull it up and you will be fine.

If i remember correctly i got the velcro at walmart. I always take the sub out when i leave the jeep for an extended period of time.

Also have my second battery in the trunk in a custom battery tray the same carpet material as my sub box and thats also held in by velcro.

Between the weight of my relatively large box (I bought the correct spec box for optimal sound with my sealed Type-R) and the close tolerance I used when I connected the S and eye hooks, it doesn't move at all. I'd have to hit a foot deep pothole to even make the S/Eye hooks rattle haha.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

hello all, any particular brand of 'industrial velcro' you guys used? most likely will order from Amazon ... I currently have the sub strung to the back seat back area with the netting that comes with the Jeep, prefer the velcro option, just not sure which side you guys stuck on and how , is it double sided (apologies if this was posted before) ?

The actual VELCRO brand with "industrial strength" written on it. It can also be had at Walmart for like $10 for a 4ft length. In order to make it "double sided," just take 2 equal length strips and connect them both to each other via their adhesive sides. Voila, double sided velcro strip!

This is the same stuff I buy at walmart for about the same price: http://www.amazon.com/Velcro-Brand-I...ustrial+velcro

Thanks very much, makes perfect sense ! Will give that a shot ! Appreciate the link too

I probably shouldn't keep the sub in the back for the off road trips anyways, but it was cool when we stopped for a few beers to blast some quality tunes in 1080 kbps quality, lossless on the trail

Haha with the Velcro you will not move. Another thing I forgot to mention only use the rough part of the Velcro. So stick two rough pieces together. The soft fabric half of the Velcro does not stick to the jeeps carpet only the rough side.
