Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I did the rough country 2 inch lift last week. So I went through and checked the torque on most the hardware. I also put 1.5 inch spacers on the wheels before adding new general at2 next week. Oh and also did a coolant flush today. I think I was pretty productive today!

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Had new transmission cooler lines installed last night. The old ones had been leaking fairly steadily, especially with the colder weather. Bought the MOPAR part on Amazon for $51 and paid $173 in labor at the local dealer. Not too bad for a job that really needed to be done. Totaled at $224 OTD! Now if only it would warm up a bit so I can finish my bass knob install and replacing my MAP sensor.

Now the real test will be seeing if they filled my transmission back up to spec. I checked after the drive home and it wasn't in the hot range. Best guess is I'm a quart low.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Posted the OEM wheels on local equivalent of craig's list. Any ideas on how to market these, I am stating they fit WK 95-10, and XK, any other vehicle type that would take these wheels you guys know of?

As a correction to what I'm assuming was a typo, WK's are 05-10. I believe the Wrangler's of many recent years also fit the bolt pattern.

Yup, definitely a typo! been typing all day long, fingers starting to slack... so the JKs would also fit these ... problem here is most JKs would change wheels for off road configs, these 18" with a positive offset would not cut it - would believe a reasonable upgrade for a street WK or XK perhaps.

Sure! BTW. I noticed that my front brake pads are worn so I may change those out today, as well as drive through some puddles and mud

The oem wheels from your WK are fairly limited in application. Your only realistic candidates would be other WK's or XK's. The combination of bolt pattern and offset make it a difficult fit. The front brakes on a JK will disallow the fitment of the higher offset WK wheels, the older WJ's may take the WK wheels but I can't say for sure, the bolt pattern is the same and they do take a high offset wheel so it may be possible. I would market them to ppl looking for an extra set of wheels to mount snow tires on for their stock WK/XK's, that could help eliminate any cross reference conflicts.

Thanks very much for the info, yup the high offset was the main reason they had to go as I am against spacers.

I did notice that the spokes on these wheel sare non standard for the US market, seems as possible only an export version, anyone interested willing to pay shipping probably not worth but never know!

No need for snow tires in this location

Thanks again!
