Re: What did you do to your WK today?

So I soaked the rear wiper in PB blaster and used a wiper arm puller to no avail! It didn't even budge, and broke my puller. Am I missing something here? It should'nt be this hard to get a rear wiper off a 4yo vehicle

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

yeah, just makin sure lol. from what I have read up on it, it sounds like its a iota to pull off even with the nut removed and pb blasted. from what others have said (other forums) just keep pulling at it and it should come off. BTW, is there rust on the threads by chance. if so that's whats making it uber difficult...

No rust. Clean as can be man. I just ordered a new OEM rear wiper assembly because I have a feeling this one might get broken soon lol

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Noticed the jeep was over a half gallon low on coolant. weird.... I have been noticing over the past few months the temperature runs a little warmer then right in the middle of the gauge. Usually it always would never get hotter then right int he middle. Hopefully its nothing major.

I'm putting a Rough Country lift kit and a set of Bilstein 5100's on pretty soon and trying to figure out how to adjust for the better tires. Changing wheels and adding tires is a big outlay of cash right now, but looking for advice.
Look into wheel spacers by spidertrax...much cheaper than new wheels. Or pickup a set of used wheels from a wrangler and throw them on there (typically $200ish for a set of 4-5 on CL).

That's ridiculous! The dealer charges like $40+ for the gates belt! If I would've known that, I would've pieced together my maintenance kit instead of buying one! I got the 60k Hemi maintenance kit online for around $90 and it has the serpentine, pcv, air filter, oil filter, and 16 OEM champion plugs!

Interesting. Mine usually runs right BELOW the middle line by about a hash mark or even two and my Scangauge tells me it sits right at 206 on the highway. If it's getting warmer, your thermostat might be locking up, but that wouldn't explain the major loss of coolant. I'd do a pressure test and check sooner rather than later.

Recently, I was also losing coolant and it turned out that my OEM radiator cap was bad and was belching up fluid basically every time I started the HEMI. Replaced the cap and fixed the issue immediately.

Yup mine sits one has below as well. I was loosing coolant and replaced the lower radiator hose water pump and thermostat and it seems ok now haven't done a cooling system pressure test yet. Do that first so you can see where it's leaking from, when I did mine it was leaking from the side of the block so I knew it was the weep hole.
