Reset the jeeps computer by unplugging the battery. Make sure throttle body is plugged in correctly, functioning properly.

His tb is throttle cable driven so if it failed it would likely be a tps failure. If thats the case a new tb is needed and a reset will not solve it. I say check the gasket between the tb and manifold as it can cause a high air flow issue that was mentioned earlier. That can cause a code for tb failure. Josh, when it does run, does it run like it idles a little high? That would be an indicator that the gasket is shot. Especially if all your vac lines checked out okay. If its in fact a tps failure the truck, from the sound of it, is reading that the tb is shut and is being choked off. But that also can be caused by the skim issue as well and that goes down a road I dont want to think about at the moment.

It runs for only a second and makes one hell of a racket. It shakes the whole jeep. I have to be flooring it to get it to start. When I let off it just dies. Isn't it drive by wire(all electronic with no throttle cable) Jeff?

Filled her up with 3 quarts oil. Reset the battery and replaced map sensor. No go guys.
