I thought so too when I first tried to start it. I knew from the beginning that it probably had dropped a valve or valve seat, because engines don't normally make those kinda sounds when it's something simple like timing or a leak. Not sure what I'm gonna do now, will either have to rebuild it or sell it. What a PITA! However I'm shocked that it's not throwing a cel or a ton of codes.

Im sorry bro. Have it towed to a shop where they can break the engine open to see what went wrong. Hopefully it didn't damage a piston and just needs new heads.

I guess I can tell you guys now. Was gonna keep it on the DL but whatever...Two weeks ago I placed an order for a built 392 6.4l hemi stroker long block. It won't be arriving for another month so I will have to figure out what to do until then. Was not expecting my engine to die, it was working just fine then, and all of a sudden it goes dead. At least I won't be spending any more money!

Ecu will just need a tune, since it's the same block just a stroker motor. Will probably be doing a sharadon stage 2 for the tranny.
