After seeing the video, yup you have DBW. which is strange, cuz Chrysler didn't fully go DBW until 07.5/08. I thought the hemi got it in 06, cuz you know the gc is jeeps flagship suv.

Honestly I wish they had stuck with a cable there is actually a noticeable lag with drive by wire.

Well yesterday. I mounted my radar detector to my rear view mirror with a bicycle reflector bracket. (http://www.planet-9.com/987-cayman-b...rt-9500ix.html)
. Also tapped radar into rear view mirror.
Installed the 3000K HID kit from my WJ fogs into my WK fogs. Ended up having to use the ballasts from my WJs low beams. My low beam HIDs are 6K but, 1 was on the way out and turning yellowish. I am in process of ordering another set of bulbs.
I have another set of ballasts which I double checked in the WK lows and I see they work. But each time I turned them off they wouldn't come back on. The ballasts I used in the fogs worked fine the lows when I tested last week. I went to use again last night for the lows. And they wouldn't turn on, I flipped the harness around and, they work fine. So I have DDM ballasts in lows and fogs. No relays for either. I've read the posts about relays needed for the lows. And mine seem fine without them. Well 'cept, when I turn the fogs off my lows go off instead. And when I turn my lows off, they remain on and the fogs go off. Hopefully I'm not doing any damage. But I have a relay kit which I will install when I receive my replacement bulbs. Btw, with the exception of the relay kit. Installing HIDs in lows and fogs in the WK, way easier then the WJ.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Sounds like you have your relay trigger wires reversed between low beam and high beam

Sorry to hear about your jeep that sucks. Did you buy it new or used?

My jeep? Bought it used about a year and a half ago. I paid $14,500 for it then. Only put 15,000 miles on it since I bought it.

My friend had the same issue with his Tahoe. He just replaced the fuel pump and everything was good to go.

Reversed between lows and highs? Hmmm. Didn't touch my highs. Although. I might have the fogs and lows crossed. Guess ill have to straighten that out when the new bulbs come too.

1 way to rule out fuel pump is to turn ignition to on position and listen for the pump priming
