Re: What did you do to your WK today?

You need a relay for the lows that's a deffinate. For the fogs it's a hit or miss if your blowing the fuse them you either have a bad ballast or your drawing too much current so then you would need a relay.

Gotcha. Thank you. Hmm. Maybe If I have a bad ballast I might just go with some 3K halogen bulbs for the fogs. They seemed to have a better output then the 3K Hids when I used in my WJ.

Well on way home today my passenger side wouldn't kick on. Got it fired up, and noticed my passenger side fog wasn't on. When I got home I began messing with the wires. And couldn't seem to get it straightened out. I ended up going back to stock lows, after some playing around with the passenger side bulb. Which seemed to be jammed in.
As for the fogs, I popped the fuse for them. I replaced fuse, and popped again.
Anyone have any ideas? No relays on the fogs, had none for the lows either. I will install relay for the lows when I get my replacement bulbs in. As for the fogs. Not sure why I'm popping the fuse just yet. Also out of that size fuse. So I'm fog-less for now.

both kits DDM. 1 seems to be a slimmer ballast then the other slim ballast. As far as bulbs, I am not sure what brands they are at this point LOL

OEM Orbiteks off to powdercoater today, if all goes to plan should have stockers back on by the weekend with a new finish. Stoked to get back to my OEM's, haven't had em on since my lift and 265/70's.

Rental car this week, lol. I'm gonna have to have a rental car for another four weeks until my engine gets here. Actually I end up saving money since the rental car's daily rate and cost of gas actually is less than the cost of gas for the jeep.

Hey guys if I were to unplug the spark plug from the cylinder that dropped the valve seat, could I get my engine to run?
