Hmmm.... Were you able to see the cylinder walls very well? Are they scored or gouged? The valves seem to be holding pressure @ low speed turn so the loss of compression may be failed rings but I'm leaning more towards the valves still @ operating speeds...

And like you said, low speed diagnostic turn over won't put enough pressure or speed on the valve to make the wandering apparent. I think once the cover is off and you start going through the valve train, the issue will present itself pretty obviously. Keep the updates coming though, curious to see if our brainstorm diagnostics are anywhere on target.
Could also be that the valve is bent, and you just cant see it in the pictures?

Yeah, that's what I'm getting at, I mentioned the seats in reference to how close to the plug they actually seat when operating normally. With bad guides they may be walking laterally enough to contact the plug. I can't play out another scenario in my head that yields the same symptoms. We've gotta be at least on paper with this, looking forward to the big reveal. My apologies that you've got a blown motor and are gonna have to pull the heads to satisfy our curiosities...

That is also a possibility that we will never know unless the heads come off. But a bent valve will stick some and won't close a the way like it appears in the video. Also even if a seat came out it wont fall completely in because the seats are tapered to the valve. So at any point on the inside of the seat, its still too small to fit over the valve head. However, I just thought of this, it may be possible for a seat to come out and make contact with a plug. But there is a flaw in this thought process. It still does not show in the video and the valves are still closing. A dropped seat would make the most sense for a damaged plug....

I can entertain that scenario, sounds like there is multiple issues in the valve train. I think that someone has been driving spirited

Sigh, I wish they made a radio that fit the rec bezel exactly without a filler. I would buy that in a flash.
