How about all you guys that already have em?
No there's a main plug before it switches to the 3 different bulb sockets. The light plugs directly into that main harness on the jeep and the factory headlight wiring stays on the headlight you removed.

So the LED assemblies plug into the converter box which plugs into the factory harness, that much I copy. You say headlight wiring but I assume you mean tail light, so on that assumption... What the F, over?!?! What factory wiring stays with the oem assemblies that are removed? I'm sure I'll end up ordering a set soon if for no other reason than to satisfy my questions... And I want the LED tails obviously. I look forward to seeing your setup Jeff, it should clear up some questionable intel I've obtained in my research, thanks brother.

Here are the promised pictures, unfortunately I cant give you pics of the backside and how they hook up. I do some digging around and see if I can find something... reason I cant give rear pics is that I am 10,000 miles from my truck, oversea's in korea until 2015

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Hi guys,

Been a while, work being hectic and all .. on the Jeep side:

slight clunk developed in steering wheel when returning from full lock, workshop loosened all parts greased the lot, including the subframe. Put it all back and all gone now, must have been a loose bolt somewhere when we changed front Diff bushing. Speaking of Bushings, the lower control arm ones are now due for changing, would rather get something better than OEM if out there. What you guys recommend: MOOG, Acdelco, raybestos or mevotech? I am between MOOG and ACdelco..

In other news, sprayed the exhaust tail pipe with Rustolium matt black to match the tip .. and went out with the wife for breakfast and took this photo from the table

Haha sorry was tired last night. Ok if you take off your stock tail lights right now you will see you have 3 bulb sockets and all those socket wiring goes back to a main tail light pigtail or harness that you can unplug and the whole tail light with wiring will come off. The main harness is on each side mounted right behind the tails to the jeep. Its a square connector.

To then hookup the LED tails you unplug this main harness and take the stock tails off with all the stock 3157 wiring still connected to it. The LED tails then connect directly to this main harness. I don't think i have a black box on mine, pretty sure its built in.

Here is the main tail light harness i speak of which is located on each side. Hope this clears up any confusion
