You can wire those lights so they only turn on when the lights are on. Can use the light diming circuit that tells the radio to dim it's lights when the headlights are switched on. Just a thought.

You don't wanna do that brother... The blizzak is a studless snow tire (which I'm sure you're aware of), and as such the rubber compound is different than that of a standard all season tire. The blizzak's rubber is designed to be driven @ ambient temperatures below 45*, if you drive all year or in winter but in a warmer climate (California) on them you'll be lucky to get 15k miles before they're worn. Jeff, that's also why you trashed yours so quickly.

A good all around tire that lasts is the Nitto terra grappler. That's what I'm running. Wet dry snow dirt anything...

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

It rained in Dubai today .. a lot! yes ... very unusual for here this time of year . Drove through some massive puddles ... it was fun!

The Toyo Open Country seem to have good grip in the wet, don't know how they would perform in snow though ..

Then you wasnt an all season tire from places like cooper tire or general tire. Heck you could even get a set of good 4 a year's duratracs or silent armors.

Nitto terra grapplers. Nice tready looking tire to go with your wheels. I had silent armors and they were alright. The grapplers have better traction on and off road tho. With the grapplers on a wot launch from zero my hemi got zero wheel spin and not even a single chirp. The silent armors would spin. Very solid tire but relatively expensive at $215 each.

Honestly think of it as a long term investment. From what I've read they should last 60k, which is a good 5 years of use. If your gonna spend like $150 a tire anyways might as well invest some more in a quality tire that'll last.
