Honestly guys, I don't do vinyl wrapping. Now if you wanted to lay fiber glass or carbon fiber I could teach you guys that when I get back. Especially since carbon is part of my plan.

How does laying carbon fiber differ from carbon fiber vinyl in terms of looks? Also Alex, Casey does some pretty solid vinyl wrapping...

Well the vinyl is basically a sticker so to speak while carbon fiber is a cloth that requires a separate adhesive and to get the shine you need to also apply the resins to harden it and protect it. Then you go thru a similar process to prep it for clear coating. I prefer clear coating to gel coating. Better shine and it wont fade or yellow like gel coat does. Laying real cf is a long process but is far more rewarding. You can get cf in various ways too with different weaves. For example my cf interior is a plane weave where as body parts have the more popular 2+2 twill weave.

It sounds like a bit of a pain to do. Did you do all of your dash in carbon fiber cloth? I am looking for something to match the shifter
