As long as they don't come in contact with any sensors you won't need a ground.

Still wont work, the anchors are in plastic, as you know, plastic is not conductive. Also the DBW on the 3/4.7's has the ground thru the harness

Yeah what I'm saying is since the anchors are in plastic you don't need the ground mod, since there is already no current flowing thru it that could mess up the readings. The ground on the harness is for the sensors and throttle control motor.

sorry, im a little tired so it seems I stumbled over my self and fell over the concept, of the mod causing my train of thought to derail lol. its 0017 here. (or 12:17am for you non military types lol)

just run to autozone and pick up a torx set they are fairly cheap. 5-10$ at least one of them would fit
