Re: What did you do to your WK today?

This probably won't make any sense, but here is what i DO NOT want. I don't want to be driving down the road and have someone see my car and hear it and say to themselves "Oh noo noo noo, that is the wrong sound for that car" I want a nice little roar but nothing crazy loud. I also understand it's hard to get that sound with a v6 jeep.

I understand that thinking well. I think on mine anyway I got a little of both. Nice quite rumble at idle and a nice growl at the lower rpms so its not aperantly obvious that it has major work done to the exhaust. Now when I punch it, that is when it makes its self known to the public that its there. But has a nice note to it all the way up to redline.

I have plenty of exhaust vids on my build page. Id go magnaflow and if you are still worried about it you can throw a resonator in it. On mine, because im not running cats, I have a pair of 28 inch long glasspacks and then at the rear I have a pair of magnaflows. I also have headers and my own custom made mid pipes.

Anything similar to the 40 series from flow master?
Looking to get a black tip too

Yeah bro. Not bad. The thrush welded is baffled like the flowmaster but I cant comment on failure rates. Dont know too many people running them. Id say a 16 inch magnaflow will give the same tone but a little richer.
