Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I bought my GC in February with 100,840 miles. Oil was fairly clean so I've waited till now to change it. Done the 3 step Seafoam treatment Monday and changed the oil yesterday evening. 1st, Monday the carbon release (white smoke) was huge. Then when changing the oil yesterday it was filthy (very dark) giving me notion that the Seafoam done its job there too. The pan plug was a #*%$# to remove. With little persuasion with a pair of Vise-Grips and a hammer it finally came off. Thankfully I'd bought the Fumoto Quik Valve so with it installed the next time should be easier. Used Mobile 1 High Mileage Full Synthetic 5w-20 and Fram Xtra Gaurd filter.

My drive to work this morning (33 mile drive) I can already tell there is a HUGE improvement in my Hemi's performance. Not sure if synthetic was used previously (my bets on no) but the combo of the Seafoam and the synthetic oil helped to quiet the lifter tick some and throttle response was greatly improved. The idle hesitation is completely gone!

Funny thing to share. When changing the air filter I found a dead bird in the air box. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1398955205.092262.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1398955218.026334.jpgBrought a song to mind "I wanna fly like a sparrow into your Jeep, Fly like a sparrow let your Hemi carry me". Sorry. Couldn't resist.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

No mods as of yet. I've got MANY mods planned as the money becomes available. OME Lift (2.5" maybe) aftermarket rims (not sure of style yet but black in color) bigger tires (33"?) armor (front grill guard for sure) and a cold air intake, aftermarket exhaust and performance tuner. Will do the lift and tires 1st as soon as I have the money

Nice. Very nice. I'd like to plasti-dip my emblems and chrome strips on the side. Here's a few shots of mine. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1398975434.625035.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1398975447.609109.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1398975459.475707.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1398975512.715548.jpg
