Engines, no. 4x4 system, yes. the v6 as far as I know usually got the more basic AWD setup over the 2 higher systems found on different trim levels

So it shouldn't matter with me being the 5.7? Since we aren't swapping 4x4 systems just just converting?

Nope, as long as the transfer case will bolt up. the v6 has a different trans. your hemi has the 545RFE while the v6 has the W5A580/NAG1

Damn so we should make sure of that first. Does that mean my trans is not going to handle as much power before needing to be replaced?

the trans will still be able to handle the same power just fine, that is not effected. but you will be putting all the power to the rear end. But what you will notice the most is the driving and handling dynamics. it will feel livelier in the corners as you will have about 200 to 250 lbs less weight and having less weight up front gives a better front/rear balance

I know I'm going to be a little lighter but one thing I don't know would happen or not. Since it's not distributing power to the front and the rear and only the rear wouldn't the hp and torque to the wheels go up? Not an increase in overall power just with what's getting to the ground.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

So what I found idk if it means they won't bolt up but they I guess don't use the same transfer case because the NAG1 has no 4 lo. I looked up to see if we could just swap the cases and no where I looked have me a straight answer and since I'm not as mechanically inclined as I like to think I am I don't fully understand everything I read so I could be 100% wrong
