Re: What did you do to your WK today?

it's either 1 or the other..could be earlier models with the black sealant which is easier but it's 50/50. But aftermarket lights are sealed with the black so ppl have bought those to open up. I was lucky my Projectors were sealed with the black.

My stock halogen were with clear sealant...let me tell you..NOT FUN lol.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Any of you fellas thrown the P0325 trouble code? I've popped it 2 or 3 times in the last 6 months or so and was wondering if anyone else has seen it. It's the knock sensor for bank 1, doesn't seem to be malfunctioning or influencing timing/idle, I'm suspicious it may be picking up vibes from the A/C comp engaging and disengaging, one time was during an off road trek that was pretty rocky so I attribute that incident to the terrain. Both sensors are operating within tolerance so I'm not gonna tear the intake off just to swap em out, I'll probly throw a new set in when I have another reason to get into it but at this point not a huge concern, just sounding off to see what sticks.

It could be an underlying problem that only pops every now and again. Next time it pops up see if there is any other codes with it

It's only ever thrown the left bank knock. I've got a wifi obd scanner that I keep in my Jeep, I get in from time to time and check all the sensors op ranges. The few times it has thrown the code I log in and check em, no pendings or permanents, just the knock. I clear it and good to go. Could be the harness as well, being that the sensors are under the intake on the pan they're exposed to a lot of heat fluctuation and the connectors get brittle and experience vibes, it's possible one could be workin loose. Hasn't shown up on my data logs as voltage drops on either sensor yet tho, I'll probly do a deep clean under the hood soon and pull the intake just to be thorough, when I do that I'll likely drop a pair of new sensors and harness in just for good measure. Sensors, harness, and intake gaskets are only around $60 on Rockauto...

Mine have the black sealant on them. I want to get the CCFL halos they seem brighter and more uniform. I heard the inverters go bad eventually but lifetime warranty it says. I would be forever in your debt to help me lol. Im about 30 mins from the city with no traffic.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I want to go with the two big rings and not the projector one. I feel if I have the two outer ones the projector will be too much. Look to busy.
