after the pump is install, you proceed to filling the coolant tank. After that you leave the cap open and let the engine run for a while and continue to pour coolant if needed. Is there anything else that needs to be done?

I read about using a 8mm allen bit to loosen while the engine runs and you should be able to see water/air bubbles coming out? Is this necessary and how long before you tighten that back?
Correct. I would recommend replacing your thermostat as well. Open the radiator cap, fill it all the way up with coolant, fill your expansion tank up with coolant too. Then start the jeep, and watch the temperature. open the allen key bolt to let the air out and close it. Repeat this process multiple times until all the air is out. Watch the temperature as well.

But Davvy what you can do is take your belt off and turn the waterpump by hand. Thats how i knew my old one was bad besides the horrible noise it made. It was able to wiggle back and forth

That's my plan of attack today! Im planning to take off the belt and if the pump isnt tight..it must be pump?

Also gonna fill it up a lil and see where the leak is comign from. If it's the pump, imma get the pump from autozone and tacke it 2morrow+fri

Doesn't always work that way... That only will check your pump bearing seals... Could be a crack or a bad gasket too. Rent a pressure test kit and check and see where it leaks from when you pressurize it.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Fill it up with water run it and see where its leaking from easiest thing just use regular water. THen once you find out where its leaking from get the proper collant and open the valve on the bottom of the radiator fix the problem and replace all the coolant. Thats how i would do it anyway. But if your jeeps making a weird noise could be the pump. Look around the pump for leaks if theres no leaks right around it It could be a radiator hose or thermostat housing. Thats the cheap way to do it anyway.

Only issue with that is the weep hole is designed to bleed as the system loses pressure at about 15 psi. So once you turn it off you may have to wait a while to see if it leaks:
