Loosen the rad cap when it's cool. Fill it up start the truck and keep filling until it starts to almost flow over . Shut the truck down and cap it.

Whatever small amounts of air left should make it's way through to your overflow reservoir

Faster, safer, more definite, and more effective because it is at the highest point in the system.

Is your rad cap getting hot after driving? If it gets hot you don't have air in the system.

should be. Checked everything a few mins ago after my drive 2 hrs ago and cap still felt warm.

Can you also tell by the heater? On my first shot at bleeding, i had heater max but i didnt feel any hot air while temp was approaching H with crapload of air in the system.

When i tried it the 2nd time, i was able to see air hiss out and coolant overflowing and the heater was back to normal, hot air.

So I drove all over korea this week and these are the rides I drove....

images.jpg

The hyundai starex.... deisel power but its a dog. The trans is junk even if it pulls hard, the ride is actually not too bad. Almost jeep like but with less body roll.

Then the rexton rx7

images (1).jpg

This thing is absolutely terrible. The only jewel about it is the 3.2 liter v6. The 6 pulled hard. Real hard. But like the starex, the trans killed it. Dont react fast enough and it loved to hang in third gear. If you romped on it it didnt down shift from third. Romp on it from 2nd and it will down shift. Ride quality....would you like a shattered spine? Cuz thats what you get in the rexton.
