What did you do to your WK today?

Played around with a c63 amg V8 bi-turbo and was amazingly surprised to see how well he hung with me. Not gonna lie he started to pull on me a bit before we hit the next light. Looked it up and they do 0-60 in 3.6s Gotta fix my vacuum leak and get a proper tune...

Saw smoke pouring over the top of the hood. Look and see and the pads I put in are totally roasted

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Well, I didn't do these today, but here's what I've had to do since I got my 2006 WK last September at an auction:

In order:

-Oil Change
-Replaced the spark plugs that were never changed in 93000 miles
-Changed out lazy 02 sensors. Glad I don't have to do that very often, had to remove my transmission dipstick tube to get to the passenger side upstream, and I didn't feel like dropping the exhaust.
-While I was under there, I noticed my transmission fluid pan was leaking, so I replaced the gasket and cleaned off the pan rust. Painted it to maybe help prevent more rust.
-Replaced stuck parking brake shoes
-Various rust and paint chip repairs. Some minor, some less than minor. I hate Buffalo.

Expected at your speeds man! The Grands have always had under sized/powered brakes since their inception, even stock with normal use they warp and wear rapidly. Throw an ass load of ponies at it with a heavy right pedal and the speed that results and they don't stand a chance! Good thing you've got a monster set of binders ready to go on to match that power plant, you'll need the anchors...

Mmmm but this time I wasn't really driving fast or hitting the brakes hard. I've been really good about letting it coast and then applying brakes after she slows down. I think my rotor is so badly warped it's rubbing against the pad
