ok so im leaning towards Synthetic. A 5qt Jug from Royal Purple for$37 shipped with Prime. From Mobil1 a pack of 6qts for $37 as well. Any preference on either brand?
How does those price look?

For the oil filter from K&N, i see 2 part #s, HP 2011 and PS 2011

I agree I run Mobil one by far my favorite can't go wrong but I shall start using the k&n filter follow the JG hype

well, I would beat up everyone on oils but that would be moot. personally I use Pennzoil ultra syn. ive always ran pennz and never a issue. ran Pennzoil high mileage conventional in my old truck. she just ticked over 200k miles

Yea i was leaning on mobil, been using it for all my change so why switch?

As for the filter, i see on k&n it list Hp2009 for the 2008(jeff) and 2011 for the 09?
I was going for the mobil 1 filter just cause it of same brand as the oil

it should be the same from 05 to 10, I don't see them changing filter heads mid cycle, unless it was in o8. but I doubt it tho
