Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Yesterday I painted my rear black plastic step with a truck bed coat. It was looking more gray then black and needed some serious help! Looks great now

Today now that it is dry I went out and popped it back on. It looks so much better!

First I bought the one on the left from Lowes, but I didn't like it very much. It wasn't gritty enough for me. Then I bought the one on the right from PepBoys which is the one I ended up using. It was a better product.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I cleaned it really good, wiped it down with isopropyl alcohol, sprayed a coat of adhesion promoter, and then 2 coats of the bed liner.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

That looks incredible! Is it difficult to pull the step pad off to do this?? Any specific instructions?

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Added SRT pedals to my Overland! Not easy to install the brake pad, but in the end...GREAT SUCCESS, HAPPY TIMES!!!!!!!

No, it is very easy! Lift the rear hatch and you will see 4 plastic fasteners. Pop those out and then start on one side and pull up. There is a series of snaps that hold it to the bumper. After I got a couple of them up I slid a screw driver under to use as leverage. You will see what I am talking about once you start. It is easy and there is no harm of breaking anything, so don't worry!
