The picture said, start w/the frayed and wrap toward the un-frayed and overlap 1/4" for best protection. Since I started with the un-frayed and overlapped like 1/2-3/4", I guess I gotta re-do it... stoopid instructions!

Rule of thumb is to overlap half the width of the material. So if your using 2" material, overlap 1".

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

hmm good idea, may need to stop by autozone n ask what they got. trying to do some work in my buddy's apartment but impossible to wire an extension cord from his apt.

I would go for the double din Alex. makes the interior more high end with a screen in it. Plus you have an CAI already and just want to switch brand?

Yeah I know for a fact they should have something in their inventory bro.

Thanks. Yeah, I was going for a CAI straight to the tb since k&n sucks and I haven't seen one plus they are over priced at times. Your right a double din is exactly what I've been wanting to finish off the interior !

It's called an inverter, plugs into your 12v supply (cig lighter) and converts to a 110(ish) household outlet. Your wattage output will depend on the size/rating of the inverter, usually enough to run small tools or appliances.

Yup. It's a power inverter. One end into the cig lighter, AC plug on the other.
