Re: What did you do to your WK today?

That's cool! I wish I could find an *honest* mechanic for stuff I can't (don't know how to) do.

I thought it might be kinda cool to open a place with a mechanic (or 2?) with a lift and those "hard-to-find" tools. The place would be for like people who kinda know what their doing or might need help or to use the lift/tools.... I don't have the capital to do it though.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I haven't *done* it yet, but has anyone ever tried "water wetter"?

Red Line Synthetic Oil - WaterWetter® Coolant Additives - WaterWetter®

It's supposed to keep your engine cooler. You add it to your radiator... Just wondering if it works.

Yo Alex check out sonicelectronix. Com that's where I got my door speakers tweeters and sub. Cheaper then anywhere else got my 10" for 150 with warranty. eBay has a complete wiring kit for 14$ everything you need and I got my 400$ amp for 175 on craigslist like brand new

Not 100% satisfied, the old halo rings was covered entirely with leds so once lit it would look uniform and 1 piece. The RGB however contained about a few leds with spaces between so once lit, you can tell the individual leds.

The second problem was the controller signal. The old one uses RF wireless so it was able to penetrate through blocking objects, able to leave the receiver anywhere in the engine compartment and able to turn it on n off inside the car. The RGB uses Inferred so the remote must be aiming straight at the receiver, like a remote to TV.

Found out all this after i bought this, wrote em an email. Really wished they would have warned me of this on the product page. I am able to locate the wire to the udnerside of the cowl so it faces the windshield.

Here are some pics,

If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay? I've wanted leds where I can change the color but I didn't know where to look

What did you do to your WK today?

Same sort of thing happened to me today, only against a brand new BMW X6M. I had about 3/4 to a 1/2 car length on him until about 90 when we slowed down for the light. And those things go from 0-60 in 4.2 secs with 555hp so with a proper dyno tune I could easily pull a full car length on him. When I tried to give him a thumbs up he wouldn't even turn to look at me.

from superbright LEDS it's under $40 shipped.
keep in mind..THE RGB kit uses inferred technology so the remote must be able to have a clear path to the remote. I have a medic hood so i can slip it right by the hood and the wipers.
I believe there's 18 colors, brightness dimmers, and 4 different types of strobes

yep, pretty much all bimmer drivers r pricks. I was in my bro's '13 stang gt on a straight clear road, saw this newer M3 punching it trying to pass, punched it as well blocking him.
Came to a light and rolled down the windows expecting another go, but he stayed half a car length back lol.

Btw how fast is the ur 6.4 0-60?

Is it just the kit to make the halos change color? Like I already need halos? Because 40$ seems waaaaaay to cheap for headlights

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

everything is included..2 80mm halo rings, wiring, and remote.
I also purchased 2x 80mm halo ring cover cases to make the light look more uniform but they seem to be out of stock forawhile on those.
