Here are some pics. I was amazed at how well the Beemer held up. Very little body damage at all. However the rear passenger wheel is bent in quite a bit and it won't drive.ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1407302220.074578.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1407302238.106635.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1407302259.574000.jpg

Damn man... Appears to have been a lower speed impact? From the pics it looks like no airbag deployment in the 300. Make sure they check your drive train, a lateral impact like that can wreak havoc on your cv's, diff, strut, etc... Not designed To take much shear force and if it wasn't a very hard impact the damage may not show right away but rather after some miles. Close call man, glad y'all are alright.

Yeah no airbags in either car. He was probably going about 35mph or so. Yup I'm gonna be on top of the shop to make sure they do every thing right

35 should have surely blown the bags in the 300, especially if he hit you square. It could be possible tho the sweet spot for the bags could be higher but i doubt it. Likely didnt hit in a way that would set em off.

I dont think i got that much sleep in a long time. I was awake for maybe 3 hrs yesterday. Just enough time to mail a package to alabama, got back to the room and crashed again.

I thought National Highway Safety whatever whatever said airbags would blow at like 15 mph...

It's been REAL quiet w/o you, Jeff!

depends if its a glancing blow or head on. a glance could impact at 35 but only transfer 10mph worth of energy into the car it hit...

I know it be quite lol, I slept all but like 3hrs of my recovery day lol

Yea, I think you're right (natch). I remember Nat'l Hwy Safety Whatever saying that 5 mph for a head-on collision was enough to sher off the air bags..
