Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Ok well it's done. I can't test it because the alignment is WAY off. I'm almost positive it needs a little bit more clearanceing and the pedal is spongy as hell so I need to bleed it out again. So just power washed my jeep and couldn't help but notice that my passenger side is not sealed all the way due to condensation built up after i painted them. Will i have to bake it and strip it all then redo it or fix it somehow?

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Picked up our GC LTD couple of weeks ago and I've been painting bits that SHOULD have been painted when it was built! Brake rotor hubs, front drive shafts, tail shafts they where all bare metal, underneath was still primer so I've spayed over with rubberized sealer and other harder to get to places with LANOTEC and pushing in countless PLASTIC clips a bit tighter!

Well the weather finally hit us here and I happened to go through a relatively large puddle of water... I have the water resistant pre filter over my air intake but I still managed to suck up enough water to bog down the engine and throw the pretty flashing CEL. Only for a moment tho. I let off the gas and coasted when tat happened but it kinda scared me that I almost hydrolocked my engine. I'm wondering what I can do to prevent that in the future... like winter time.

You can make or buy a directional shield that blocks most of the water. Something like this

Hmm I like that! I was also looking at bypass valves but I'm unsure about it
