From what I've been able to find, you both may be right....
The best info I found is Resonator Box. What purpose?

There is NOT a lot of info on it. Idk, maybe I'm not using the proper words. I tried "wk jeep resonator box purpose" and "wk jeep air box resonator purpose" and "what does the air box do on a jeep?" And "what does the throttle body resonater do on a jeep?"

The general consensus seems to be more noise. I like noise (well engine noise anyway).

Ive looked into my reso box. It doesn't taper down to the tb. Much. My injin does the same thing and its almost as quiet on the throttle as stock was. In the case of the 3.7 its just a muffler

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Not today but yesterday. The install of the cv shaft went smoothly and only took about 45 mins to put it all together. My dad was visiting so while I worked on the suspension he changed the valve cover gasket on his old zj. After that we went down to ocotillo wells for some offroad fun!

I'm working on finding some. Problem is they're a long way away. 30 miles is like an hour and a half trip (but, if they can help, I spose it's worth the trip!!).

My wife doesn't know ratchet socket from a wall socket!! She does try to help, but when I get frustrated and have a melt-down, I'm NO fun to be be around! I don't even wanna be near me!! It's different if you're a guy. You can poke at each other, ya know?

Wtf. What do you drive at 20mph everywhere? Ok bro you've got everything you need. A wife who WANTS to help. Now you just got to teach her about cars. Start with a blank sheet of paper and by drawing an engine block, (the pistons, the rods, the crank, the cam, the valves, then the accessories) show how it rotates and how as the crank turns the cam turns causing the valves to open and the cycle to start again. Then on the other side the transmission and rest of the drive train until you get to the wheels. Then teach her how to use tools.... Simple. It's a lot of fun to wrench with your partner bro. My girl knows exactly how to calm me down when I'm having a meltdown. She'll say something like "Babe, calm down" give me a hug and a kiss and I'll be chill as f*ck again. Trust, a guy can not do that. Btw how old are you Steve?

I like that idea. I think she gets bored with it. She wants to get a Wrangler! She'd be into wheeling, too! Gotta know how to fix things first!!
