It's always the RR sensor that faults, correct? Even after rotating, the location fault is the same (i.e. RR tire to RF, RR still shows fault), correct? It sounds like you could have bad transponder @ the RR location, or it's been hit and dislocated. There a 3 transponders on the WK, one in every wheel well except the LR, these pick up their respective sensors signal and relay it to the WCM. They have a very short range so if yours got knocked about and moved even a couple of inches, that may explain your problem and why it reads intermittently. It also could just be going bad and need replaced. As long as I understand the history and steps leading up to this correctly? Correct me if/where I'm wrong.

Yeah, that's where I'd start digging if it were me. From the corrosion on the wheels and sensors in the pics, I assume he's east coast or mid west, they salt the shit out of the roads and destroy vehicles. That being said, it'd be a good idea to check the wires and plug for that transponder also as they could be corroded or damaged as well, causing issues. If you (mrjay) go through all this with no change, I'd replace the transponder and see if that helps, should be fairly cheap (~$30-$40). It's not guaranteed to fix it but it's cheap enough to take a stab at it and hope that's it, I definitely would if it were me.

It put a small crack in the side wall off the tire, but the rims is alright, and definately atleast needs an alignment as it is pulling to the right. It only went like a foot and a half so I doubt there is any major damage.

The outer rubber layer is mostly just cosmetic, if you lift the torn piece and still see only rubber you're gtg. What's the load index/speed rating on your shoes man?!?! Pretty sure they're not Z rated so they technically shouldn't be doin 160+ even brand new!! The friction, force, and temp climb drastically at speeds, a catastrophic failure at those speeds would make for a terrible day bro. I tried to reply to your PM but your box is full so the following is the failed reply:

"It's true, you've gotta make sure your jack or stands have a good purchase on the arms. There's a nice protruding ridge going 12-6 on the underside close to the lower ball joint that I like to use. For some things it doesn't matter where you lift it, really only working with suspension and axles. Just another trick to keep in the bank man, it'll come in handy."

Yeah they are only rated to 119 but I pushed them to 172 today not the best idea but it's sooo tempting. A blow out at those speeds means the jeep will likely spin out and roll into smithereens. Cleared the pm box a bit. Cool thanks for the tip!
