There a 3 transponders on the WK, one in every wheel well except the LR, these pick up their respective sensors signal and relay it to the WCM. They have a very short range so if yours got knocked about and moved even a couple of inches, that may explain your problem and why it reads intermittently. It also could just be going bad and need replaced. As long as I understand the history and steps leading up to this correctly? Correct me if/where I'm wrong.

If you (mrjay) go through all this with no change, I'd replace the transponder and see if that helps, should be fairly cheap (~$30-$40). It's not guaranteed to fix it but it's cheap enough to take a stab at it and hope that's it, I definitely would if it were me.

That's what I was looking for. Thanks guys.
Correct. It's been the left rear only. Not intermittent. Just not working since March or so, bought jeep in Feb. Came back once after battery was disconnected. And then not again. Had them rotated and was still showing as -- in that position. And now with replacement sensors. It's -- in the left rear position still. Came back for those few minutes/miles yesterday. I've read about the receivers before. And that there are 3, with none at the left rear. But I can't seem to find any info on them. Pictures, part numbers, etc. Does anyone have info on em? Is it something I can take the wheels off and look around and see condition of it, connections and what not? Is it something I can replace myself? If replaced does WCM need to be reprogrammed?
And you're right. NorthEast, New Jersey.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

never installed switches and decided to give it a shot. Ordered the switch from OTRATTW and a big thanks to justin for the switch panel. Decided to copy justin and wire multiple LED strips in the grill. Wired it through the firewall, right near the PCM, there's a rubber plug you can pull out and goes right into the glovebox. stretch that all the way behind the center dash, around the steering column and into the cubby hole.

the only downside is the panel isnt too visible so i may try to experiement with something in the center dash.

here are some pics...I thought the "alien lights" was fitting with my green theme.
The upper text (alien head) lights up whenever the ignition is on, and the red bar when it is activated.

Looks sick, but I think you should wire it so the Symbol + words are lit up all the time, and then the light underneath it comes on when activated. That's how I think I have mine wired up...

^ i THINK the text stay lit whenever ignition is on...BUT it is so dim i dont think the cam captures it.

On the site i believe it's upper independent (im assuming pic and text) and lower dependent (the red bar)
