Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I got the new CAI yesterday. That was the easy part. I spent 2 hours trying to get the rubber elbow over the TB. I couldn't do it. It's like one end is too small!

One end is thicker than the other. I (dangerously) assume that's the end to go over the TB. Anyone have a trick to stretch the rubber elbow thing? All I have to show for my efforts are cut up fingers!

What year did you buy it for? o7.5 and up years have drive by wire. The tb is smaller then o5 to o7. o7.5 and up tb is 2.5inch vs vs the 3.25 inch on the earlier years

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I remember having that conversation with you about TB size(s). I double checked the "instructions" that came with it. 2005-2010... Makes sense, tho, that it's for > 06. The thicker end is like 1/2" too small... I'm gonna check AZ and Pep Boys to see what I can find.

They seem to have the chrome, 90' elbows. Idk if they'll work or not.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I trimmed my fan shroud back 3/4" to clear the Bwoody 4" intake. Also had to re-wrap it due to it hitting the shroud and cutting the wrap.
