Re: What did you do to your WK today?

When I took my window trim off for painting, we noticed that the trim at the rear quarter windows seemed to be 'glued' on and not stuck with clips, so we opted to paint these whilst still on the truck.

This was done last year, below is some of the photos I could dig up:

As seen below, the rear quarter trim was painted directly on the Jeep all others where removed when painted:

Painted and back on the truck:

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Yup, seemed less hassle then removing and trying to figure out how to glue it back on (if indeed it is glue that is keeping it there!).

Must say one of the best visual mods in my view, as you can see I have an Anti-chrome theme going there

Just ordered the SRT8 sway bars (F & R), and some Moog tie rod ends, just to tighten things around the bends..

thinking of going a tire size up too, but not sure about which tire can be stretched comfortably on 9" wide rims, seems as the popular lifted size 265/70/17 has a max rim width of 8.5" (according to tire rack specs on most manufacturers).

What size tires do you have now? Looks like you have as much fender space up front as I do

Yes sir that's almost the same exact size except I am running 20 in rims with nitto terra grapplers. I'm gonna drop mine by an inch from the 2 inch lift so it looks tighter.

Exactly my plan but want to add an inch to get the same result on the lift

But also remember when you add an inch to the tire your only changing the fender space by 1/2 an inch.

Yes sir, i think 31.5" is probably the 'safest' on a 2" lift - also tread dependent.

Gotta see whats out there that would fit the rim width first

I ran the 265/70's for a while, but on 8" wheels. Currently I'm running a Rubicon setup (7.5" wheels with 255/75 KM2's, which are a little more than 32" tall and 10" wide). 265/70's would be a bit shorter and wider but would likely work alright with your 9"s, check out a 275/70 though, they should be about 32"x10.8" and would fit the 9" a bit better as long as you've got the clearance when turning (I don't know your current offset so I can't say for sure). The options in that size will be a little more limited than the 265/70, but would suit your wheel more appropriately.
