Brought the jeep to the dealer at 7am on SAT only to find out they only do oil changes on weekends FTLLLL.
Planning to brg it in on Monday at 6am and then onto work. Chatted with the tech a bit and he said "Technically you can drive it if you can bear the chime, the bags will still deploy if triggered and will pass inspection."

I'm wondering if the SRS system is warrantied differently, either way im hoping to have the girl fixed on Mon, so i can enjoy the EAGLES whoop some ass!

Yup. Just got it in the mail. I'm assuming they'll replace/reconfigure the ign switch. I've always thought that was a bad design. If my seats not all the way back my knee easily catches my key and shuts me down. Just that perfect angle and height catch the key. I'm curious what their solution will be? Newer wireless fob with push button from the newer WK's maybe??? There are plenty of aftermarket retro kits for that out there, shouldn't be too hard for Chrysler to figure out.

That wireless key would be nice but I think they will do a push in to turn ignition switch if anything.
