Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Pdipped my emblems on the back. Has anyone Pdipped the door handles, roof rails, or the hatch step thingy? That's what I want to do next.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I took my WK on a road trip over the weekend for the first time since I’ve made use of my SuperChips programmer. I adjusted for the tire size and put on the 87 tune for fuel economy. Here’s how it turned out.

200mile trip:
On the way out, 45min of stop at go after 20 min of city driving to get to the interstate. After that, 75-80 mph with two dogs, loaded cooler, and a fiancé and got 20 mpg overall
On the way back (reset after 50 miles of back country roads driving to wineries leaving about 150 miles of interstate) got 22mpg at 70 mph and around 21.6 at 73/74 mph.

Sure beats the hell out of the 17 mpg I was getting at 65-70 before the tune and with the old tires!

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Installed my interior LED kit and WOW. I thought it was going to take me about 20 minutes and turned into 3 hours. It was a difficult job for sure. I would recommend using a hemostat on the hatch light, worked great for me. The liscense plate lights were the hardest by far. My fingers are raw, make sure you have your lights on so you can see if they are working. I don't know if I got a cheap set or what but man those LEDs are touchy. Will post pics soon.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Somebody decided to toss strawberry yogurt all over my Jeep today in broad daylight. I don't know who it was but I am pissed. I've had it for a week. Punks

No cameras. I live in an apartment but I'm thinking about getting one of those wireless IP cameras. I took it to the car wash and everything is good. I'm just worried that next time they won't use yogurt! I was out there off and on all day working on it and I took a break for an hour, walked back out and BAM! I saw the two empty yogurt cups in the grass. It was impossible to do a drive by so somebody on foot did this.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Well I have the midnight blue color and plasti-dipped all my emblems when I got my rig. I decided today that the blue color was dark enough for me so I took the plasti-dip off and installed the chrome side moldings. Not trying to pass by as a limited or anything just think the chrome looks better, especially with the badges matching it.
