Factory remote start. I'm not too knowledgable about them, all i know is you press the button twice and she starts

Honestly no idea. I bought the jeep with it. It's on the jeep fob, it's not an aftermarket auto start. Maybe the first owner got it done at the dealer? But i'm not completely sure.

Do you just push your lock 2 or 3X? I'd bet it's an aftermarket unit the original owner had installed. Next time you're under your dash, look at the wiring harness coming off your ignition switch, you should see about 4 wires coming out of the loom and going to a small black module box. I'd be curious to see the setup, brand and components...

No, there's a separate button on the fob for the start. And i'll check it out tomorrow. I've been under there before but don't remember seeing that. I'll let ya know tomorrow.

Yup you pretty much got it cv shaft, abs wire, brake hose, lower and upper ball joint, and possible inner tie rod damage. Yeah I had moog adjustables.

Correct. That's on me, I didn't bother checking his year, just assumed I guess. Sucks about your front end bro, like you said, that inner end is probly smoked too, that's a bad angle and torque for that joint, I'd swap it while you're rebuilding that corner just to be safe...
