So...dropped front driveshaft to put on new CV joint kit, easy enough....rear u joint is shot. Took it up the road to a shop that works on alot of Cherokee jeeps just to see and they swear they can replace. I asked multi times just to make sure and they all said yep, come back in morning...we shall see.

O2 sensors changed. Big PIA to get to passenger clip. Was tucked behind the tranny fill tube. Took out of exhaust first and pulled from top. Not much room for a bigger guyuploadfromtaptalk1457803755169.jpg

I probably use as much PB blast on my Jeep as I fill it with gas! 😂 Good stuff!

Well shop called...they got old one out only to realize that they couldn't fix.lol. I told him that that's why I asked five or six times before they tore it apart. Now he isn't sure what to do.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Engine coolant temp sensor. Read that those sensors even when not throwing a code can send all kinds of goofy signals to ECU. I will say that idle has calmed down( not shaking) and throttle response seems different.
I also put my painted my chrome door trim black with some texture. I started to sand them down and the chrome was peeling off so I cleaned with paint prep and painted. Notices that u could tell where the chrome had came off so I put down two coats of bed liner and topped it off with two coats of black. 3m trim tape and looks good I think.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Completed a pan drop trans service and p/s flush today. Both were definitely needed, the 60k interval just doesn't sit well with me. Who else has done their own trans service on the nag1? (3.7 & SRT) I'll hit the dealer tomorrow to get an accurate measure of the fluid level, not one of my scanners supported the TFT data so I had to estimate temp and get it close...
