Good call. I was thinking of mine and got ahead of myself. Calibrating the tire size changes more than just the speedo as well. It sets the shift points back in spec and recalibrates the ESP. In Alex's case it won't matter which .25" increment he goes with, I don't think either one will affect it differently.

How do you like the 4800 so far? Do you utilize the appradio or screen mirroring mode at all? I'm planning to upgrade from my current 3600 to the 4800. How is the glare and responsiveness on the updated screen?

So far I like it, I have used the Navi on app radio And it seems ok nothing special but it's an ok Nav system, I do like the built in Pandora capabilities when linked to your smart phone. The screen is very responsive and glare has not been a problem since I turned the auto dimming feature off, if you wire up the unit using the dimmer control wire then when you turn your head lights on the screen will dim so it's not so easy to see during day time. The IPod control is great and the radio reception is much better than the stock unit. The clarity of the Bluetooth hands free system is great, when I first tried it with my wife she thought I was on my phone and not hands free.
I bought the unit from Amazon, it's was much cheaper than BestBuy or Crutchfield, I hope this helps.

Yeah, I've had the avhx3600 for a couple years now so I'm familiar with the basic functionality of the unit, just wondered about the improvements they've made. Is the app mode functioning simply with your USB/lightning cable or is it still requiring the VGA cable and apple adapter? The spec sheet seems a bit vague on the topic.

Yes the app mode functions using just the USB/Lightning connector. I ran the usb cable down and into the cubby under the heater/traction control bar.

That'll be nice, a bit cleaner than my current setup. With my model it requires the pioneer cable to VGA and the apple VGA to lightning adapter to operate the appmode/mirroring. I also ran my cable down through the storage cubby, I have it setup so it stows flush but can be extended and retracted as desired, I rest my iPhone in the tray of the shift module so it's an easy connection to make when needed. You can see the Lightning connector just to the right of the panel that occupies said cubby.

Looks good. The appmode does not support true screen mirroring for the Iphone, the Navi App does but you can not see the Ios Screens, i believe you need the NEX versions for true screen mirroring.

Trying on some new pieces. Definitely keeping the bumper. Headlights are a little rough, but have potential to be nice
