I just did the same! Mine runs into a drain plug on the trans pan and I used 1 of my air ducts to mount it ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1463751345.757257.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1463751376.541099.jpg

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Might not be the right thread for this. But i figure there's a lot of traffic on this one so why not... So i want some quick opinions on tail lights. I plan to go away from the all black look for a little. I wanna get polished aluminum SRT rims. And probably a few chrome accents to go along with the wheels. Curious what you guys think about these tails. Right now i have black tail lights so i figured it would look kinda silly with polished wheels. Thanks guys. (Also will these fit 08-10? I thought spyders only worked on 05-07 without the harness) ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1464051953.684178.jpg

Honestly I love the stock tail lights, so I'm gonna be a bit biased. But I think the chrome tail lights look a bit tacky, I would atleast go for the full red with the LEDs if your going that route. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1464083139.443312.jpg

Agreed. I've got the red LED assemblies as well and love em! I wanted to stay as close to oem as possible though, messed with the oem housings and LED bulb replacements but never got the intensity I was looking for. I even started considering building my own boards to fit into the oem housings because I liked them so much. For the cost of the new set and as close as they are to the oem's, I just went that route. To each their own though, if you don't want the red and are looking to change it up a bit, who's to tell ya otherwise.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Hey guys! I got the time to make another YouTube video. I did a video on the installation of Dynamat under my WK's hood. Using their Hoodliner, it helps reduce noise and heat in the engine bay. I'd appreciate anyone checking the video out!

Thanks guys! Im leaning towards the red ones. Would they fit on my 08?? I thought the spyder tails needed some sort of modification? Or no?

Don't they make a set specifically for the 08+? The 05-07 have dual lights and the 08+ have a single so I'm not sure if they provide a wiring harness for the conversion or if there's a set for the '08+, I'll check up on it and let ya know soon. I think the red is a good choice on your part.

Probably got water in a connection somewhere. Eighter in a ignition coils or in the main engine harness

X2. The connections to the coil pack are a bit exposed and can become fouled with water. How many miles on the clock? I wouldn't stress too bad on it until some basic diagnostics can be done. Typically heavy rain/road spray won't cause much damage, just inconvenience. Unless you somehow pulled water through your intake and enough made it all the way into a cylinder, that would be a bad situation, but would almost require a full submersion at intake level to achieve, so not likely.
