Another forum I am on does this, its great for the little nothings not worthy of a new thread. Its a confidence booster for your WK to let it know even the little things are important... oil change, de-badging, painting bits and pieces, repairs, the fact that you finally got to drive it...
Ill start:
- considering I made all of 2.1 hrs for the 6.5 hrs I was at work, I pulled the grand in, pulled the front end off and rerouted my HID relay harnesses for my fogs and headlamps. When I initially installed them I was slamming them in with no time to worry about wire routing or ballast mounting.
-Checked all my fluids to make sure all was still good considering the open heart surgery done to her a couple months back, all checked out good other than what looks like a slight coolant leak from my radiator end tank.
-dusted her exterior and shined the tires (she got a bath last night but it sprinkled on the way home)
-Installed a steel skid plate!
-Saturday I pulled off my steering wheel to resolve my squeeking clockspring and clicking turn signal cancelor cam, In a moment of NON-thinking I spritzed the clockspring with some spray lube, good news... it is quiet... bad news, I had a "check electric brake system" message in the evic and the traction control light on following. Quickly hooking up the witech I found I had an "internal scm failure". 2 days of driving later it went off and hasnt come back (phew)
It's in neutral and park. Driving I don't do it. But when it revs the rpms shoot up to the rev limiter. I want to be able to play with it. "Bounce" the rpms if you will.
Got pulled over... For having my stereo too loud (damn it, it's brand new) and recklessly accelerating through an intersection. The officer did not have a speed reading on me so he didn't give me a ticket, and just told me to turn down my stereo. Whew...
I have had that happen a few times. Fort campbell regulation says it cant be heard more then 10 feet outside the car with windows up. My issue is it can be heard 200 feet away windows up at 3/4th turned up lol
The officer already had a stereotype in his mind against me lol. He checked my windows for tint and then the exhaust and under the hood (all stock lol). He couldn't believe it was stock.
I got let off with a warning doing 54 in a 45 taking off from a green. Didnt see the cop. Asked me where I was going in a hurry. Told him I had to get back on post cuz something came up. At the time I had no muffler as I was switching it out next day. Never questioned the exhaust or asked about mods.
Engine wash, car wash, clay, polish, and waxed it today. I started at 9am and just got home. I am pooped. Then again the hangover may have something to do with that but I dont know.
. I use it even in virginia where it is illegal and I quickly flip it off with my switch near the wheel. In va they have radar detector detectors but luckily mine had a detector detector jammer built in. Invincible!!
I'm trying to get 68045157aa. It's the factory bracket that the kicker subs from the factory come with. It is the cleanest and safest way to go IMO. It's expensive and discontinued tho.
Not a jammer just a detector. I'm getting a jammer though once I'm done building my integra.
The Velcro doesn't give any bounce and it's not permanent. I'll take pics tomorrow if you want. I got the Velcro because I used to go off-roading and the sub would move around a lot. It hasn't moved in years but when I want to access the bottom panel I just pull it up and then put it right back in place. Gotta love Velcro.

Well they are better rated then the nitto 420's I had on my last set of reps, so yes to answer all your questions. 1, I wanna try general tire. 2, I like how they look and they have roughly the same tread life but in a more all season tread pattern. Better for all year use. The are higher speed rated as well. the nitto's were rated at 149 while the G-max tires are rated at 168. Same traction and temp ratings but have a high UTQG rating. (Nitto was a 420 and the G-Max are 480) but above all they are significantly cheaper then the nitto's. I paid 850 with free shipping on the nitto's. these will be like 636 and when shipped 735.70 for all four. (im going staggered again)
