$10 shovel for those getting stuck days. And it mows down zombies pretty effectively.

How would you *know* you'd need it? I carry my Glock 27. Wherever Truck Norris goes, it how's. I never know when I'm going to need it. Better to take it and NOT need it than to need it and not have it....

I fully agree bro. The army is the same way. Better to over equip yourself for the field then to pack the minimum. Never know when a piece of gear is needed and you dont have it.

Re: What do you carry with you?

Don't criminals kick the doors down and take what they want and also hijack cars in countries where personal defense is limited or prohibited? Home invasion, they call it. That would be a really bad move for a criminal at my house. In Tennessee, a permit to carry a handgun is issued to any qualifying applicant. I believe most States have similar laws.

I carry a Kel-tec 380 in my pocket and a 1911 .45acp with 2 extra mags in the car or on my side if the situation warrants. Also, a tactical flashlight, phone chargers, tow strap, a collapsible orange hazard cone, mini tool kit, hard hat, steel toe boots, safety vest, computer backpack, umbrella, and rain pancho.

Re: What do you carry with you?

I'm adding a few things based on this thread - thanks. Oh, and I also carry two orange safety vests to increase my visibility if I get stuck roadside.

Be safe and prepared.
