Wire Mesh Grille

Just finished my stainless steel wire mesh grille. Also sprayed the factory chrome with plastidip. In all it took about 3 hours and a lot of trimming with tin snips. Should I powdercoat the mesh black?

Re: Wire Mesh Grille

If you used woven wire mesh the plasti coat/powder coat will never take properly due to the separate strips of woven mesh moving, It will crack with the slightest movement.

Re: Wire Mesh Grille

Did you have to cut the old ribs off the grill or do they pop out?

They need to be cut out along with some of the tabs that stick up. You want the mesh to lay flat on the back of the grille
