Re: 2005 WK Hemi headers

That kicks ass! However, I wanted to keep my spare. Also, I had a y-pipe after the cats, no x-pipe. Those challenges made it a bit more interesting (read: expensive, lol).
I justified it by figuring a single-pipe catback plus installation would be about as expensive.

and it sounds freaking amazing to bro! its a proper racing exhaust setup and its tunable to. I can drop the resonators in 5 minutes to pick up some top end speed....but its loud as hell.

JBA short tube headers
My Own catless mids
Magnaflow X-Pipe
Flotec glass packs
SRT resonators

wanna hear it?

Sure! You can't beat cherry bomb, man. Those things are sick.
I'm having issues with uploading from my phone, ever since the Tapatalk update.

Re: 2005 WK Hemi headers

I was pretty sure you had a 3.7. After the intake, exhaust and Diablo tune, I might just give you a run for your money with my 5.7, lol.

For some reason, I can't upload the pics with the Tapatalk app...

A flowmaster 50 is a cheap muffler. Cutting the y and running duals is not by any means difficult. Like Jeff said you shouldn't have paid more than $300-$350 at the most. Sorry bro you got r*ped and thought it was consensual lol.

I feel so dirty and used...

They actually used two Flowmaster 50's; one on each pipe.
I'd reconsider having them install my headers, but they're the best shop in the area and I have a broken manifold bolt. If not for that effing bolt, I'd probably do it myself.

Re: 2005 WK Hemi headers

Does anyone know if the clearance issues with installing headers (custom or modified store bought) on a 5.7 WK are exclusive to 4WD models or are they still present on a 2WD 5.7 WK?

There is no clearance issue even with 4wd model. The issue is only with the stock 6.1 headers is with the transmission case so it would apply to 2wd also
