2007 CRD Dynomax 39478 installed

I just installed the dynomax 39478 on my 2007 CRD this morning. I notice little to no sound improvement of any kind. I do like the 3" mandrel bent stainless piping. Driving at highway speeds it is the same as stock. I'll keep track of my mpgs if it improves.

Thanks for the information, I didn't know of a dynomax option for the diesel, I had only heard of the mbrp exhaust.

Re: 2007 CRD Dynomax 39478 installed

I've emailed dynomax to tell them there is no improvement. They were very rude saying it was only designed for the 2008-2009 crd that no 2007 would work for it. Correct me if I am wrong the 2008 is the sme setup as an 2007. Also in USA there was never a 2009 CRD option as dynomax informed me.

I didn't notice any difference either with my MBRP system. Little louder when you hit the pedal it let's out a growl but other then that, it's the same

Re: 2007 CRD Dynomax 39478 installed

yea from what i have heard there is little to no gain with any exhaust set-up

and there are no 09 CRDs
and as far as 07 and 08 being the same...i would assume the exhaust setup is the same?

I think mbrp is just a straight 3" mandrel pipe, no resonator, no muffler at all.

Anyway, diesel power magazine did a dyno test on the mbrp and noticed no increase in torque or hp.

The dynomax has a "muffler" and still no increase in an exhaust note.
