3.7 compatibility

I need a new motor for an 07 Laredo 3.7 and found an 07 liberty 3.7, I looked online and found out these are the same engine from powertech but the site I am buying the engine from says it wont work. Does anybody know if this will work or not?

Re: 3.7 compatibility

The engine itself will swap over without trouble, however you will need to use the intake manifold and tubing from the Grand Cherokee.

no prob, and if in fact there is an issue of the intakes, just swap em over to the new engine

So all you need to do is swap oil pans ( liberty drains right in to the cross member) and swap fly wheels. Putting the finishing touches on it tomorrow and I should be back on the trails one last time before I leave )
