The o5 and up liberty headers will work on any 05-10 3.7 Wk. I personally run them on my 08. Shop on summit under 05 and up liberty. You will be looking for jba part number "1930S"

But to save time heres the link

Re: 3.7l performance love

Thanks for the Feedback. Im thinking of just doing a walker quite flow ss. From what I have read, it flows better than stock and is just a touch louder (Im not looking for noise, just flow). Just dumped the jet performance chip and ordered a hyper tech. Im going to do the Viper throttle body mod because Hypertech now has a tune for that throttle body size. Have you ever re located the IAT closer to the filter for more accurate temp readings? My dash command scanner says I'm getting roughly 4 degrees above ambient temp while driving, but in traffic/ city the temps are way higher and I think that it has to do with heat soak due to the crappy location of the IAT sensor. header wrap works really well on the intake tube for lower temps. I will post a pic of my CAI, I bought a tube from Ebay that was designed for the Liberty. its shorter than the K&N and fits perfectly with the filter right behind the grill. I put a custom made ram air tube on the grill straight to the filter. Has a really good deep tone to it with great outside air flow right to the filter.

Let me know your thoughts on the IAT sensor re location.

Thanks for the help!

The walker quiet flow ss has a bit more putt putt at idle but is quiet at acceleration and cruising. Its not going to make your 3.7 sound like a v8. Its still a fairly large muffler, very close to the stock size. I thought about a turbo muffler with an extension for a while but ended up with a good deal on the walker and Im happy with it. I re used my stock tailpipe as it was still in great shape.

You could do that. It would only marginally help tho. I run a open filter on a short ram intake and i see 1 to 2 over ambient in the summer and .5 in the winter. Keep in mind thats only while i am moving. Sitting still the stock intake is superior as i see as high as 20 over while stopped.

Hypertec is alright. Their tunes are unbelievably conservative. They barely touch fuel maps and ignition maps. The most they change are knock retard tables and even then they only pull a few degrees. As for a plug n play they really are all we got. If you got the coin go for hptuners and get a custom tune thru it.
Im doing my own tune using hptuners on my laptop

Lol while it wont sound like a v8, you can get it to have some of that "V8" ness to the exhaust note.

This was back when i removed the resonators.

Both videos recorded on my gopro hero 3 silver. 1080 @ 60 fps. Audio recorded using my olumpus external mic for my gopro.

Enjoy and be sure to crank up them speakers or headphones lol

Re: 3.7l performance love

What are you using for an oil catch can? Is a breather on an oil catch can necessary for our 3.7?

I am running a billet tech can on mine that was originally ment for the 5.7/6.1 i have adapted it to fit the 3.7 using smaller fittings and lines then whats provided for the hemi and have custom made a mounting bracket to use the billet tech standard mount.

I feel that the 3.7 absolutely will benefit from a catch can. Blow by on even a new pcv is bad and only gets worse over time, especially if you are like me and you like to rev the nuts off it lol.

Re: 3.7l performance love

Got a quick question....about to do a new exhaust from cat back. Can you get the tail pipe in with the WK on jack stands or does it have to be higher. Got stuck before on the old ZJ trying to get the pipe over the axle. Wondering if I'm in for the same fun!

Thanx!

Re: 3.7l performance love

Has anyone found a company for forged internals and a more aggressive camshaft for the 3.7?
